Located halfway between the farm campsite and 5-star clubs, our campsite offers quality entertainment while ensuring the tranquility of holidaymakers.
Do not confuse calm and boredom. You are here in the heart of Périgord, on the edge of the forest, nature and calm are the undeniable assets of our campsite.
But we also have all the equipment to ensure quality entertainment.
Concentrated away from locations and never exceeding midnight, our summer activities will respect the tranquility of all.
The traditional animations of the campsite
Welcome drink
With us it is obligatory because a glass it does not refuse! Sunday at 18:30, it is an opportunity for you to get to know the whole team and for us to present the campsite and all activities.
The bingo
Sunday night bingo is a great time for fun and socializing and a great way to get to know each other at the start of the holidays. If you win, you will have the chance to spin the wheel. But beware, if you make a mistake, there is also the wheel of wages … Small games and free entry to win. One of the most famous lots: the hug to the cuisto. Or is it a pledge I do not know anymore…
Theme meal
A great moment of conviviality takes place every Thursday evening at the campsite La Lénotte. In 90% of cases, it is preceded by an aperitif concert for the appetizer. Then the menu proposed by the cook Michel alternates according to the weeks between the ch’ti meal and the périgourdin. Based on registrations, all our parties are accompanied by a concert. Guaranteed atmosphere !
Concert nights
Traditional music, songs with lyrics, Irish music, African music … all music is welcome here and we schedule our musical evenings according to our encounters, talents present on the campsite, or artist friends who came to visit us. In this context, difficult to announce you in advance the musical programming of the summer, our scenes are often improvised. But promised, you will dance !
Karaoke and dance parties
Alternately every other week on a Tuesday evening, for the whole family, these evenings really represent the spirit of camping.
For karaoke, we call on our friends The Z’Igolos and their original show Songs à la carte directed by the illustrious Pierre Melotti. The principle is simple: you choose your favorite tube in a booklet of more than 200 songs from 1930 to the present day and it is they who take them back. You can take the microphone, sing loudly from your table or just listen to them religiously. At home, we do not force to sing, we want you to have a good evening !
Sports tournaments
– The boules tournament: no camping without a petanque tournament is not it? And no petanque tournament without a great atmosphere at home. And who it is, there may be a lot for the winners …
– The ping-pong tournament: less popular than petanque but just as nice. We do not do it every week but as soon as a hole in our animation schedule allows it, we do not hesitate!
– Football tournament: for all but focused on children, it is an opportunity for parents and children to gather around the most popular sport in the world.
– Water polo: We have a pool so let’s enjoy! Water polo is our most eclectic activity. It brings together young people from 7 to 77 years old in joy and good humor.
The activities of discovery of the territory
Visit of the cheese factory
The Dordogne is the country of goat cheese, called “Cabécou” for connoisseurs. We are lucky to know small producers, the Bortolin family, located 5 minutes from the campsite. Once a week, they organize for the campsite a visit of their dairy including: visit of the goat farm, cheese factory, projection of a film on the manufacture of goat cheese and, of course, free tasting !
Hiking outing
The Périgord is full of hiking trails. We are lucky here at the campsite to be at the foot of the GR 36, one of the largest hiking trails in France (more than 1000 km). Once a week in the summer, in the morning fresh but not too much, Julien or Michel takes you out of the hike from the campsite, from the forest at the bottom of the campsite. Walk of nearly 2 hours of an affordable level for the whole family.
Canoe trip
The Dordogne is not only a department, it is also and especially a superb river on which one can make canoe. There are canoe rentals here on every street corner. For our part, we chose Alain de Canoe detente as a partner. Because on the one hand, it is very nice and on the other hand, it proposes a course passing at the foot of the most beautiful castles of the Périgord Noir. And, icing on the cake, it makes a price of friends to customers of the campsite !
Tasting of regional products
It is impossible to talk about Périgord without mentioning gastronomy. Bergerac wines, Monbazillac, terrines, duck confit, foie gras, duck breast … are just some examples of what you can enjoy in Dordogne. But watch out for tourist traps. So here, we suggest you to discover an authentic producer and friend, Laurent Colet, who comes to the campsite once a week to help you discover his products.
Theme meal
Once a week, on Thursday evening, Michel offers a common meal. His menu choices represent our dual identity. In fact, it alternates most of the time between a “ch’ti” menu and a Perigord menu. It is on the occasion of the latter that you will have the opportunity to taste new delicacies of this beautiful region.
